Actually I suspect the best defense against such sites [and they will
eventually be better organized with better content] is simply make
your classes aware that YOU are aware of their existence and that you
DO check what is available on topics you assign. What seems to be to
be a VERY REAL danger for students is that two students could end up
handing in the exact same paper! Little defense for that before one's
academic honesty review board!

I took a look at both of the sites that were posted and I don't
see them a threat. I admit that they could be used in the wrong way
but
all the postings I read were mediocre at best. Both sites also
posted
disclaimers as to how the contents should be used for reference not
plagarism.
