If you're thinking of using video analysis software in physics education,
then you might want to consider World-in-Motion. Version 2.0 is out and you
can see some of its features at:
Using this software, you can analyze digitized video files saved in the avi
format. While it comes on a CD with over 200 ready-to-use video clips, the
software also allows you to use your own video experiments. There are a
number of screen dumps in this web page that show some of the analysis
features of the software. The screen dumps are 640X480 so I suggest you use
an 800X600 video screen size to view them and have a 14.4 or faster modem.
